True or not, Beyoncé and JAY-Z are redefining the craft of making an album…even though it is annoyingly just a TIDAL exclusive. Whether you buy into LEMONADE’s narrative of infidelity or think it’s all just a publicity stunt, Sean Carter’s thirteenth studio album is an undeniable response to that same narrative. Let JAY-Z be clear: 4:44 is an apology album.
